My phone is not connecting
- Make sure your phone and game device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Check that your firewall is not blocking the connection. The app uses local network (UDP) to communicate with the game.
- Try disabling VPN if you have one active.
- On iOS, make sure you allowed Local Network permission when the app asked for it. You can check this in Settings > Privacy > Local Network.
Body tracking is not working well
- Stand far enough from the camera so your full body is visible.
- Make sure the room has adequate lighting — body tracking works best in well-lit environments.
- Avoid wearing clothes that blend with the background — dark clothing against a dark wall makes it harder for the camera to detect your body.
Steam Deck: high latency with phone tracking
The game runs great on Steam Deck with phone-based tracking. However, SteamOS uses Wi-Fi power management by default. This feature groups network packets together, which causes noticeable latency for real-time body tracking.
To ensure smooth and accurate tracking, Wi-Fi power saving must be disabled.
Option 1 — Recommended (Steam Deck Settings)
- Press the Steam button and open Settings
- Go to System
- Enable Developer Mode
- Open the new Developer tab at the bottom
- Disable "Enable Wi-Fi Power Management"
- Restart your Steam Deck
Option 2 — Terminal command
Switch to Desktop Mode and run in the terminal:
sudo iw dev wlan0 set power_save off
This change resets after reboot. To make it permanent, use Option 1 above.
