My phone is not connecting

  • Make sure your phone and game device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  • Check that your firewall is not blocking the connection. The app uses local network (UDP) to communicate with the game.
  • Try disabling VPN if you have one active.
  • On iOS, make sure you allowed Local Network permission when the app asked for it. You can check this in Settings > Privacy > Local Network.

Body tracking is not working well

  • Stand far enough from the camera so your full body is visible.
  • Make sure the room has adequate lighting — body tracking works best in well-lit environments.
  • Avoid wearing clothes that blend with the background — dark clothing against a dark wall makes it harder for the camera to detect your body.

Steam Deck: high latency with phone tracking

The game runs great on Steam Deck with phone-based tracking. However, SteamOS uses Wi-Fi power management by default. This feature groups network packets together, which causes noticeable latency for real-time body tracking.

To ensure smooth and accurate tracking, Wi-Fi power saving must be disabled.

Option 1 — Recommended (Steam Deck Settings)

  1. Press the Steam button and open Settings
  2. Go to System
  3. Enable Developer Mode
  4. Open the new Developer tab at the bottom
  5. Disable "Enable Wi-Fi Power Management"
  6. Restart your Steam Deck

Option 2 — Terminal command

Switch to Desktop Mode and run in the terminal:

sudo iw dev wlan0 set power_save off

This change resets after reboot. To make it permanent, use Option 1 above.
